Last weekend Travis and I went to
Fabulous Las Vegas with our friends Marc and Marcee. Since I have been of age for almost a year now, I tried my luck at the penny slot machines. I didn't do so well. I did make 20 cents at some point, but then lost a whole dollar to the casino. It was exhilarating though to finally be able to gamble, but it probably just won't happen again. Other than gambling we walked the strip (duh), shopped, ate way too much food, and went to a show. The show was called American Superstars where I met the amazing
Michael Jackson! Ok ok, it obviously wasn't him but it was still cool. I wanted to get my picture with this superstar, but you had to pay money. I was so mad because it didn't cost to meet the other superstars, but of course it costs to meet the Michael wanna-be. I tried to sneak in a pic but then the security guard got mad at me and ushered me away. All in all, this was a fun quick trip!

We were afraid we were going to fall off the top of the stratosphere! The view on top was so amazing, and the rides looked so freaky I am much too chicked to ever go on them. Right behind us is the strip.

Yeah being 21 and LDS is much over-rated! ha ha. The gambling thing is much too stressful cuz we work hard for our money? ;)

Seriously, you have to try the blackjack table with me sometime... You can play on a $2 table with $20 dollars for hours.... fluctuating up and down... I have even made a couple hundred before! I wish I was at Vegas with you two... would love a getaway from the kids... But we find out in a week if Damon gets off of all his meds, so it will make getting a babysitter MUCH easier! Love and miss you!!!
