Last weekend Trav put a team together for the Polar Plunge. He asked for donations and then jumped into this icy cold pond for the Special Olympics! I was really proud of him for wanting to do this, but I wasn't about to jump in. My hair would have turned into an ice cube and wouldn't have ever dried. Ok, so I'm being a bit dramatic. But the water was a whopping 35 degrees. Here are some pictures an a movie of our exciting Saturday!
What Travis was lucky enough to jump into!
After he came out of the water I was surprised when we hung out for about 20 minutes. There was a campfire and hot chocolate and lots of people so it was fun to stay out, I just thought he'd be freezing his buns off!
The other athletic trainers that were brave enough to jump in
So here's the movie I made of Travis jumping in. I show my support by cheering on the plungers, not by jumping in myself!

Wow! How do you do it without major shock? How does it feel??
Were they able to raise a bit? Good Job Trav.... I might have done it just to prove I am tough... but would have hated every second of it! Your hair would have been hilarious... seriously growing ice on it! By the way... I am back to blogging! Pass it down, don't hog it all!
