It's Official!!

May 14th, 2012 Travis will be starting the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Utah!! We are really excited that he will finally get the start the program he has been working towards for years. We are also very excited that we get to move closer to family. Over 900 people applied and they only kept 45 so I am extremely proud of him :) The program lasts 3 years. (Now I am working towards getting a job at the U. Wish me luck!)

IF you play church ball, THEN you will break your nose

When playing church ball it is NOT a good idea to run your nose into someone's head after a lay up. But Travis did it any way last Thursday. I (of course) was at a work retreat in St. George when it happened so he had to take himself to the ER and I didn't get home until the next day around 6. We have seen SO many fights and broken bones throughout our 4 season in Cedar, I don't get why Travis continues to play. And yet he is so mad that he has to wait 2 weeks til he can play again.

The damage right after it happened

Sunday (superbowl night, which I am sooooo happy football season is over) when the black eyes came in.

Getting ready for surgery yesterday

The dreaded nose cast. He keeps threatening to rip it off. It (only) has to stay on until Tuesday or Wednesday (if it doesn't fall off Tues. the Dr. will take it off Wed. at his appt.)

Moral of the story: Church Ball is DANGEROUS!!

A few fun things I did last week

Last week I was able to hang out with my old (best) roommates from Snow after 2+ years of doing so!! I was so excited to see them and it was so much fun! We really need to do it more often!!

We went and bought some expensive jewelry so this is us leaving the store. (ok, ok, we went to Applebee's and sat in the booth for so long while laughing so loud I'm sure our waitress hated us)

I also got to play with these cuties :) I miss them and loved being able to play when them all day long for a few days.

Bronson loves hats and I love handing him different hats to wear.

Cheesing for the camera

She would nap with me everyday 3 days in a row. I love snuggling with her.

I'm not the best picture taker, so I am glad I was able to get these few pics.
